Dematic’s corporate nonprofit partner is For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). FIRST plays a pivotal role in motivating the upcoming generation of science and technology leaders and innovators. Their mentor-based programs are designed to cultivate skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
In addition to annual team grants and a youth scholarship, Dematic’s global network of engineers collectively volunteer more than 1,000 hours of service with FIRST, serving as mentors, competition judges, and team coaches each year.
Each April, our Global Volunteer Month program unites our workforce for a dedicated period of service. This initiative is designed to celebrate the power of volunteerism and empower our employees to drive positive change at the local level. By intentionally including Earth Month within our scope, we encourage activities that promote sustainability, conservation, and environmental health, alongside other vital community support projects. Inspired by Points of Light, this global activation is a powerful demonstration of our collective impact.
Dematic supports Captain Planet Foundation’s Project Learning Garden, creating outdoor learning labs that deliver hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education and essential environmental health and sustainability insights to students. With active gardens in communities such as Atlanta, Fort Worth, and Grand Rapids, our growing commitment ensures we continuously plant more seeds, strengthening our sustainability and innovation framework.
Dematic is proud to support the 9/11 Day National Day of Service. Through the annual Meal Pack Program, our employees join the front lines of nationwide food security efforts as part of the largest service initiative in the United States. By giving back, we honor the courage of our first responders and service members directly reflecting our "Ready, Safe + Sound" philosophy through meaningful community action.
The Community Outreach Leaders Network is Dematic's global initiative, empowering local leaders in our operational sites and remote locations to drive community engagement. They identify and execute initiatives that resonate with unique local needs and partners, supporting our Global Impact Priorities while reflecting our commitment to the diverse communities where we operate.
The Intern Week of Service provides Dematic interns with a dedicated opportunity to give back in the communities where we live and serve. As a core component of the Future Talent Program experience, this initiative fosters leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility while strengthening connections across teams. By empowering interns to serve, we cultivate purpose-driven talent and reinforce our commitment to meaningful community impact.
