To deliver our commitment to support the communities where we live and work, we have established a focused portfolio of strategic programs. These core corporate-designated initiatives and partnerships are the vehicles through which we drive innovation, strengthen community well-being, and practice social responsibility. While our full program scope is always evolving, these foundational efforts are central to our current outreach strategy.
Dematic’s corporate nonprofit partner is For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). FIRST plays a pivotal role in motivating the upcoming generation of science and technology leaders and innovators. Their mentor-based programs are designed to cultivate skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
In addition to annual team grants and a youth scholarship, Dematic’s global network of engineers annually volunteer more than 500 hours of service with FIRST, serving as mentors, competition judges, and team coaches.
The Community Outreach Leaders Network is Dematic's global initiative, empowering local leaders in our operational sites and remote locations to drive community engagement. They identify and execute initiatives that resonate with unique local needs and partners, supporting our Global Impact Priorities while reflecting our commitment to the diverse places we operate.
Each April, our Global Volunteer Month program unites our workforce for a dedicated period of service. This initiative is designed to celebrate the power of volunteerism and empower our employees to drive positive change at the local level. By intentionally including Earth Month within our scope, we encourage activities that promote sustainability, conservation, and environmental health, alongside other vital community support projects. Inspired by Points of Light, this global activation is a powerful demonstration of our collective impact.
Dematic supports Captain Planet Foundation’s Project Learning Garden, creating outdoor learning labs that deliver hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education and essential environmental health and sustainability insights to students. With active gardens in communities such as Atlanta, Fort Worth, and Grand Rapids, our growing commitment ensures we continuously plant more seeds, strengthening our sustainability and innovation framework.
